[loveit] Independent Day Weekend - Get away with CAMPING - Family Time

My friends were asking me why we are always too busy on the weekend. With my family, that is the important time to connect family members together. That is the precious time for us to understand each others and has more chemical actions to love each others more and more.
So why not having more fun and loving more?

On Independent Day Weekend ( I guess it was a long time ago because I'm too slow on updating the blog), it was the first time our little boy go camping. Usually we have a lot of activities outside, but we still sleep at home at night. This time is a little bit different (still just one night outside). We went camping in a state park, having some BBQ, enjoying the night outside (excited yet a bit hot), waking up early, and walking around our mother nature.

Our little boy was too excited that he kept bouncing inside the tent, had fun himself, and went to sleep around 3 o'clock.

We have had a lot of fun for the first time camping overnight. And yes, we are planning for another one soon.

How about you? Do you plan to go camping soon?

Enjoy and have a great day!

[loveit] Little Sister's Wedding

We just visited Vietnam for 2 weeks and came back. The reason for the trip to Vietnam is attending my little sister's wedding. We were so pleasure to be the persons who decorate her wedding gallery table. Of course, there would be flower for the table from the venue. Yet we still want to have a small touch from ourselves to give new couple a small gift on their special day.

And one more thing I was glad that I have done for them is the "Set the Date" announcement that they have posted in their Facebook.

We were so proud to be a part of their happiness.
And finally, the NEWLY WEBS.........

We wish you HAPPILY EVER AFTER

[loveit] Our little boy 2nd birthday - 1 year Blog Anniversary

Wow, time flies so fast (I guess not only me say this!) It has been more than 2 years since the day we knew him existed. And just this period last year, we celebrated this little boy's 1st birthday and I started the blog. It's just like wow, wow, wow. hih.

In 1 year, he has grown up and learned a lot of new things. He learned to run, learned to use the silverware, learned to speak (he is now a pro in alphabet reading haha), learned to adapt to the world outside there, and learned to express his love even more. This little people again is AMAZING. He knows how to melt my little heart just by smiling at me or simply use his chubby little hands to touch my face or cuddle me softly. I think he was born just to make people around him happy and even happier.

How happy of this little boy!

Of course, due to the love for him, we want to make his 2nd birthday is remarkable birthday again. This year, we chose BAYMAX in Big Hero 6 as the theme because he just loves this white marshmallow robot too much (that he keeps watching the movie over and over again).

[loveit] The 21 months Active Boy - who can't stay still

The weather has changed so much on last few weeks. Sometime we wake up with a very shiny day, but others day are too gloomy.

Our little boy is the only one in the house who doesn't care about the weather, how hot or how cold out there. He just wants to get outside and play.

He is 21 months, and in this age he needs to play, to run, and to laugh out loud to burn his energy, then he could go to bed and sleep peacefully. And after wake up, he would be the happiest boy in the world ( he loves it so much).

We, as the parents, wants he grow up happily, so we started not to care much about the weather. We care what can make our little boy growing and learning happily and safely.

How about your children? Do they love to play outside too?
Let me know =)

Happy Parenting!

[loveit] New Handmade Shop Announcement - iheartttomakeit in Etsy

Are you wondering what happened with me since my last post?

I almost disappeared from social media on those days.

And this is what I have been up to

ihearttomakeit Handmade Shop NOW OPEN

Yes, this is my longest project I have ever had. As you know, I am a full-time mommy as well as part-time crafter. I love crafting so much that I want to become a full-time crafter as well. And this is how I started my dream.

Right now, my shop is offering Seasonal themed Lip Balm only (who doesn't want a lip balm in this weather). Yet in the near future, I would add some other stuffs such as sewing and felt items. You may think my shop contains too many objects. I want my shop is one-stop shopping place to shop the handmade gift for yourself and someone special.

So if you are thinking of a gift for your beloved one in this coming Valentine, for unnamed occasion, or just for an ordinary day, you might want to take a look at my shop and those lovely lip balms. I bet you will like its unique design and love how it soothes your lips.

I promise you will receive the very romantic gift on this Valentine if you're shopping in my shop.

Take a look at my new shop and Happy Shopping!

Love to see you there!

[makeit] DIY - Facial Scrub for dry skin

Well well are you cold?
I guess yes (who doesn't hah) and of course your skin is cold too!
And it needs a special treatment when it gets cold, dry, and light-peel. When it comes to the face, the facial treatment even more special. That is the reason for facial scrub. We should not make it becoming our lifestyle, but we still need to use when needed.

Nowadays, there are tons of products in the market about beauty treatment. Yet most them contains too much chemical which we are not sure how it affect to our beauty and health on the future. That is the reason organic and homemade become trendy. I know homemade things can not be tested but at least we know what we put in there. Of course, I recommend you try a small amount of scrub to your hand first to make sure you are not getting any bad reaction.

About this DIY tutorial, I use very simple ingredients which are coconut oil, brown sugar, and honey. Those ingredients you can easily find in your kitchen yet very useful. I have use this scrub since summer, still use it, and will continue to use it twice a week to get a bright and smooth skin. Which can beat the smooth skin in this winter? I guess nothing.

Let's try it and be beautiful in this super cold weather.

Happy beautiful!
